Our family cabin is located on Devils Lake near Webster, Wisconsin just two hours north of the Twin Cities. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, living room, and large deck overlooking the lake. The lake is great for fishing and water sports, with clean water and a sandy bottom. Our cabin is part of what was once known as Lucky Strike Resort. The cabins are now all privately owned, but share some common areas including a playground and fish cleaning house. The cabin is about 1000 square feet. It comfortably sleeps 6 in beds. The cabin is stocked with your usual kitchen, bathroom, and bedding supplies. We launder bedding and towels after each rental. We also have a number of toys and games for young children, and DVDs to help you wind down after a long day on the lake. There are about 20 steps that take you down to our dock. Our dock is on the left end and free for renters to use. There is not a beach, but you can swim right off the dock in about 5-6 feet of water. There is a ladder at the end of the dock. Renters of this cabin can use the floating dock in front of our cabin. The bottom is sandy and there are little to no weeds. The lake has great panfish fishing and there is some walleye and northern as well. We do NOT have a boat for rent. There is room to tie a small fishing boat to our dock. We do not have room to tie a large boat or pontoon. We have WiFi internet

On the snowmobile trails and within minutes from the Danbury Casino, and Fox run Golf Course. 4-wheeling trails minutes away. Our lake has a public access with a very nice public beach. The lake is at its highest level in years and our beach has a rocky turning to sand frontage, is now underwater, so water shoes are recommended (because of the rocks). However, our water is crystal clear. We have a brand new dock system for 2017 that has a deck for additional seating, chairs, and a ladder. Outside there is a fire-pit with cooking grate that will create many lasting memories - and great s'mores! You will need to bring your own firewood though. You can also cook using the charcoal Weber grill (charcoal not provided) and dine on the large picnic table. There is a large area for yard games as well as a regulation horseshoe pit for hours of outdoor entertainment. We offer our cabin for rent by the week only. Our cabin comfortably sleeps 12. The cabin is well maintained, it is very clean and we take a lot of pride in our home. On the main level we have 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed, this bedroom also offers a 50 inch flat smart screen TV, a mini fridge and lots of storage; and one with a queen. The walk out lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunks, it has a closet and dresser, the lower level also offers a second private bedroom with a queen and a roll out single, perfect for a child. All of our beds are very comfortable. I made sure to choose all cozy, soft bedding. The cabin offers central air, 3 big flat screen TV's all with DVD players. 2 living room areas, a completely stocked kitchen of all dinnerware, utensils, appliances including coffee pot, waffle maker, toaster, crock pot, electric griddle, Kuerig coffee pot, bake ware and pot n pans, everything you need for a comfortable stay. New fridge, dishwasher, microwave etc... Dining area and a huge screened in porch with additional room for dining, for those who prefer to have their meals outdoors, with no bugs while overlooking the lake. We offer two brand new bathrooms as well, both have been gutted and put back together with brand new amenities. The lower lever does have a washer and dryer in cabin for your use at no additional charge. We do supply some linen, 12 bath towels per week, also dish towels, wash cloths but you would need to supply your own beach towels. We also supply a certain amount of toilet paper (12 rolls) and paper towels, we also leave hand soap at each sink, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing soap, and also some cleaning supplies. After those items are gone it would be your responsibility. Outside, the cabin sits on 14 acres of land, it is very private. The lake is cozy but big enough to enjoy tubing and skiing if you choose. We do own a canoe, paddle boat, 4 kayaks and a swimming rafts all for your enjoyment. The fishing is great and the lake is full of nice size pan fish including Bass, Perch, Crappie, Sunny and Northern. We have a beautiful sandy beach, the beach is literally less than 2 minutes from the cabin down a small hill, we throw the kids in the radio flyer wagon and off we go. We have a brand new dock with plenty of room for fishing, swimming or docking your boat, if you choose to bring it, or feel free to rent our pontoon. The water is crystal clear. We have an picnic area on the beach (the water is too high this year so we had to remove this) and some chaise chairs for sun tanning, reading and relaxing. There is also a playground area for children and horseshoes for adults, this area also offers another picnic area. There is also a great area for campfires overlooking the lake with all the firewood you will need for your stay. The cabin does have a small deck where you can watch the sun set over the lake, the deck provides a gas grill for nights you choose to barbeque. We are located in Danbury WI. Roughly 2 hours from the Twin Cities. We are less than 15 minutes from St. Croix Casino. Also close too golf, restaurants, great fishing lakes, shopping, river tubing, ATV trails, directly on snowmobiling trail. Or just stay back and lay in the hammock and listen to the loons as the sun is setting. We can’t wait to have you. We will consider dogs, depending on the situation and with an additional deposit. Gandy Dancer Trail: This 98 mile recreational trail follows the old Soo Line railroad grade from St. Croix Falls north to Superior. The trail passes through Burnett, Douglas and Polk Counties in Wisconsin and Pine County in Minnesota. Direct snowmobile access to trail by crossing the lake. Quiet roads for summer access. Our lake house is on the lovely Minerva Lakes Chain and comfortably holds 6 people. This completely remodeled 4-season lake home is equipped with air conditioning for those warmer days and heating when the temperatures dip. This is a beautiful getaway less than two hours from the Twin cities. New kitchen, bathroom, lower level carpet, and all new interior painting makes this an idyllic escape. With designer touches you can slow down while experiencing the luxuries of comfortable furnishings and bedding. Located on 3.2 acres this property offers lots of privacy. Lake Minerva has a sandy bottom and is clear. Our pontoon is not available for rent or use. Local pontoon rentals are limited, however we've previously worked with Mary at Boondocks Marine out of Webster. Note that there is not marina or landing on Minerva Lake (where the cabin is located) however there is a boat landing and connecting waterway from Falk Lake/Love Lake which will get you back to Minerva Lake. Space to dock the boat is also limited, therefore we do not encourage bringing a boat. We have received feedback from our guests that they have enjoyed exploring the lake on the kayaks and paddleboards that we provide. Ice fishing can be done right out in front of your cabin. ATV/UTV's the trail is also within close proximity to the cabins which makes connection to the Gandy Dancer easy! Located less than two hours from the Twin Cities! The cabin has a perfect set-up for a large family or multiple families. There are two large bedrooms on the main level with Queen beds in each but also room for additional air mattress, crib or other. There is room, folks, up in the loft area too – with 2 sets of bunks (double on bottom, single on top), a futon, and more space for an air mattress if you need it. The loft is made for fun with some areas to hang out, play ping pong, or send the kids up for a movie. The cabin has been totally renovated and is ready to host your group with all the loving touches you need to enjoy your weekend “up north”. We love to share the magic of this area and hear about the experiences families enjoy – watching turtles sun themselves on the “big log”, catching fish off the dock with snoopy poles (or out on the lake for those in pursuit of larger fish), enjoying gooey s’mores, and just relaxing together for some belly laughs. These are the memories that make life grand! For the summer months, we offer weekly rentals (Fri-Fri). After labor day, we offer a daily rate for folks that want to head up for a (hopefully long) weekend through the fall and winter….and we have some toys and tips to get you out enjoying yourself in all the seasons. This property sits on a large lot, hundreds of feet from the road. It has a grill, an outdoor firepit, a screened in porch, and a deck. There are lake views from two bedrooms, the kitchen, the dining room, and the family room. Cable TV and Internet are included with the rental. And the master bedroom has a walk-in shower for two (or more!) and a jacuzzi tub to soothe those aching muscles after a hard day at play. The property is sprayed for mosquitos regularly to enhance your outdoor activities. Lots of toys, both indoor and out, await the youngsters in your group. We can make the 21' pontoon boat available to you at an extra charge. The lake is much larger than it appears in the picture. It's C shaped, and our lake home is at the bottom portion of the C, far removed from the highway at the top end of the C. The kitchen is complete with every cooking utensil, bowl, appliance you will need, and there are plenty of spices on hand so that you do not have to bring your own or shop for them. Relax and enjoy our newly updated 2 bedroom cabin on Crooked Lake, only 90 minutes from Minneapolis. The cabin sits on nearly 2 acres of towering pines with 200 feet of lakeshore. The lake and private dock are a mere 50 feet out the patio door and include a paddle board and kayaks to use during your vacation. The cabin is fully furnished with knotty pine throughout. We have all the comforts of home including TV, WiFi, and an in-house washer and dryer. Master bedroom with a queen bed. Large second bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. A futon in the living area adds one additional bed, if needed. Many recreation options are available in the quaint town of Siren, only minutes from the cabin. Crooked Lake Park boasts a playground and sand volleyball court and an amphitheater with music in the summer. Siren has mini golf, shopping, a movie theater, and restaurants to enjoy.

Sit on the deck and listen to the loons, catch sunfish right off the dock (bigger fish too!), take a spin in the paddleboat over to "turtle town" to see dozens of turtles sunning themselves on the logs, swim all day in the clean, clear water, and soak in time with the people you love. Time keeps flying by - get up here and enjoy it! Cabin is perfect for families, a girls get-away weekend, or solo time to near Siren, Webster, and Spooner if you want to go bum around town or lots of great local restaurants nearby n the adjacent lakes or at A&H junction. Voyageur Village golf course, indoor pool, and club house/restaurant only a few miles away if that is your just relax the day away hanging at the cabin. We are also right off the ATV trails and the area is beautiful for a walk, hike, or bike ride. Cabin is 2 bedrooms (double bed in one, double/single bunk bed in the other) but offers extra sleeping with two pull out couches and optional loft room above the shed (queen air mattress and a little extra space). Open design and table for 8-10 keeps the gang together and makes cooking, eating, and playing games easily a group thang. Plenty of amenities to help you enjoy your Northwoods weekend - grill right on the deck, firepit, canoe and paddleboat...

Big Doc Cabin is a cozy two bedroom, 1200 square foot cabin nestled on twenty-five acres at the end of a private road , perfect for a small family or small group of friends. It has classic north woods cabin décor, beautiful views of Big Doctor Lake and the surrounding woods make it the perfect cabin getaway in all seasons. Golf courses, cross-country skiing, biking, hiking, and snowmobile trails are nearby. The property has 1100 feet of shoreline that offer sweeping views of the lake, plant, and animal life. The wooded area behind the house creates a beautiful natural privacy. It is the perfect balance of natural setting, year-round accessibility and lake usability. Big Doctor Lake is a quiet lake, nine feet deep, framed by cattails and pickerel offering pan, bass, and northern fishing. The cabin is equipped with two canoes, and we also have a paddleboard available for rent ($50 per stay). Additionally there are two fire pits (please bring your own wood) and lawn games. The public access boat launch is a half mile to the east. The cabin property includes 25 acres to the northeast. It is great for watching animals, birds, and insects (the lightning bugs are amazing). You are welcome to hike and explore, but some of the land is wetland. Even in the summer, waders are necessary for parts. Also, it is important to note that since it is a wilderness area, there are mosquitos and ticks. Mosquitos and ticks are peak during their hatch in late spring/early summer. Bring your bug spray and check thoroughly for ticks. We recommend giving dogs a fresh dose of Frontline before visiting. Main floor: The kitchen has a gas range and is stocked with basic cooking utensils and pantry goods. The living room has a vaulted ceiling and a wood fireplace. There is a sunroom with a dining table, full bathroom (note: there is not a tub, the shower does have a seat though), and 1 bedroom (sleeps four). 2nd floor: Queen bed with half bath Sleeping accommodations: Bedroom 1 (main level): Bunk bed (queen & twin), rollaway bed, and trundle bed Bedroom 2 (2nd level): Queen bed Portable crib available Big Doc is stocked with towels, bedding, paper towels, toilet paper, basic soaps and some kitchen basics (salt, pepper, miscellaneous seasonings, sugar, etc.). The closest town is Siren. There is a nice park and child-friendly swimming beach. There are many businesses in Siren including a grocery/liquor store, coffee shop, restaurants, antique shops, ice cream shop, and gift stores. The Burnett County magazines and guidebooks are excellent resources for businesses and things to do in Siren and around all of Burnett County. In addition we have listed some of our favorites in the cabin binder. One fully trained dog is welcome. We have strict pet rules. The dog must stay off the furniture and beds. The dog must be monitored at all times outside and cannot be a nuisance to neighbors by barking or otherwise. All dog waste from the yard must be cleaned up. The non-refundable pet fee is $50. Please be advised: -In wintertime the road is plowed when there is 6 inches of snow or more, four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. The property may not be fully shoveled to the door. You will have access to beautiful North sand lake thru our channel which is in our bay! Our bay is super calm and great for kayaking or canoeing! The fishing is great also. Our Quaint, quiet cabin is on the beautiful east side of the bay with a great sunset. Swim, fish, or lounge to your hearts content. Relax on one of our large decks and enjoy the warm sun or sit in the shade and catch a breeze. In the evening enjoy roasting marshmallow in the fire pit. Beautiful, North Sand Lake is a 1000 acre lake that is crystal clear, its a great recreation lake for swimming, fishing, tubing and other water activities. We are located 20 miles northeast of Siren. Bedroom 1 is on the main floor and boasts a queen sized log bed, closet, dresser and 40" TV w/ Netflix. Bedroom 2 is on the lower level and has a full sized bed, a queen sized bed and closet. The loft includes a Queen sized bed, full sized mattress on the floor and room for air mattress or sleeping bags. The full kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, oven/stove, dishes, cookware, BBQ utensils & large island with 4 bar stools. Spend relaxing evenings on the porch playing games on the custom made cribbage board table. The futon in the porch can be used as extra sleeping space. The large fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows and relaxing under the stars. Enjoy Dish Network and a collection of DVDs on the 65" TV in the main living room. The lower level family room also has a 42" TV and DVD player (no Dish Network). There is a washer and dryer in basement. Cabin is non smoking. Public access to Taylor Lake is 1.5 from the cabin and is great for fishing. Clam Lakes and Crooked Lake beach are also nearby. Originally built in the 1960’s, with a 2010 chalet style addition/remodel, and a 2019 walkout lower-level project recently completed, Tallkabin (Swedish for Pine Cabin) is a spacious 2400 sqft. It’s a classic knotty pine meets modern nordic vibe. Tallkabin is located on Warner Lake, just an hour & 45 minute drive from Mpls, about 10 minutes east of Siren, 20 minutes west of Spooner. Both towns have nice grocery shopping options, movie theaters, bars and restaurants, and there are x-country ski trails, biking trails and golf courses nearby. Nestled on a double lot on Gatten Point, amidst diverse trees, including huge old Norway pines, with 230 feet of shoreline and a naturally sandy lakefront, Tallkabin is the perfect balance of natural setting, year-round accessibility and lake usability. Warner Lake is one of the deepest, cleanest lakes in Burnett County, offering natural beauty, great for swimming, boating and fishing. The cabin is equipped with a canoe, and we also have 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available for rent ($150 per stay for all). Additionally Tallkabin offers a fire pit (please bring your own wood), lawn games, and fishing poles (you must have a permit). The boat launch is just to the north, and there is dock access from Memorial Day to Labor Day (or later). Please note there are steps down to the lake. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked (we like cooking!), with a gas range and a dishwasher. The dining table easily accommodates 12 people and is great for scrap booking weekends. Hosting a group for the week? There is an extra fridge that can be turned on as needed in the utility room. There is plenty of space for hanging out, listening to records (we have quite a few) by the gas fireplace, playing games and puzzles, or just talking with friends. Main floor has a large vaulted living room, modern kitchen, large dining area, den, sunroom with a sleeper couch, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a fabulous screened porch overlooking the lake, with two attached deck areas and a gas grill available. Lower level is a walkout (although we prefer guests do not use those doors), with a family room (doubles as a 4th bedroom with 2 queen Murphy beds) and a smaller bedroom with a full bed. There is a full bathroom on each level and we provide a hairdryer. Tallkabin can sleep 12 people. There are two bedrooms on the main level, each has a memory foam queen bed and a cot in each closet for a kid (but it will take up most of your floor space when out). There is also a pull out couch in the sun room on the main, with curtains that close for privacy (no doors). There is another bedroom downstairs with a full bed (please note this room is small but cozy with a bit lower ceiling). And two memory foam queen Murphy beds in the lower level family room, and another kiddo cot. We also have a folding crib and a toddler mattress that can go on the floor in one of the rooms. All queen and full beds and all pillows are encased for cleanliness. Sleeping accommodations: Bedroom 1 (main level): Queen bed, cot and crib available. Bedroom 2 (main level): Queen bed, cot available. Bedroom 3 (lower level): Double bed. Family room (lower level): Two queen Murphy beds, cot available. Sunroom (main level): Queen pull out couch. Toddler floor mattress also available. Tallkabin is stocked with towels, bedding, paper towels, toilet paper, basic soaps and some kitchen basics (salt, pepper, etc.). You should bring any ingredients you need, coffee, toiletries, etc. If you are wondering if anything specific is available, please ask. We do have an exterior shower and beach towels available in the lower level exit hallway (through the laundry room). Please do not use navy bath towels down by the lake. We use mostly eco friendly cleaning supplies and products. Please note, there is intentionally no TV on the main level- we feel it adds to the cabin experience. However, there is an older 37” TV on the lower level in the family room. No network TV/cable, but plenty of older DVDs and a Firestick available for casting from your phone (we have fiber internet available). Record player connects to Sonos speakers for sound through out the main level (you will need Sonos app). Star gazing and nature watching is best enjoyed from the deck adjacent to the living room. There are vintage binoculars in the sunroom, please enjoy them with care and monitor children with their use. Please note, we do not have central AC, but we do have 2 units that do keep it cool if turned on before it gets too hot. There are ceiling fans throughout the main level and two standing fans downstairs. We enjoy the sounds of nature throughout the summer, and fans, natural shade from the trees, and being on a peninsula help keep the cabin comfortable. Your fully potty trained dog is welcome (max 2). We have strict pet rules. A dog must stay off the furniture and beds. A dog left alone in cabin for any amount of time must be kenneled (kennel provided in laundry room). Dog must be leashed and monitored at all times outside and cannot be a nuisance to neighbors by barking or otherwise. Dog must potty in the kennel in front and guests are responsible for leaving it picked up. Bags are available in the front entry dresser. On the off chance of a pet accident, there is nature’s miracle pet spray in the cleaning closet off the living room. The non-refundable pet fee is $ 100 for first dog, $50 for the second dog. Swimmers and non-swimmers alike, please use caution as the lake bottom drops off suddenly and close to shore. Please monitor children near or in the lake at all times. Some life jackets are available for your use. Please hang to dry fully in lower level shower entry closet. Tallkabin is curated with vintage binoculars, beautiful books & magazines, classic records, puzzles and games, etc. Please treat our things kindly, use coasters (not books), put things back where you found them and generally respect the space. If something is accidentally broken or damaged, please let us know right away. Please be advised: In wintertime we may not be fully shoveled to the door. Please watch your step. Locked pantry is private. We do not have AC. Use caution around the lake, particularly with children. We do have monitored exterior cameras. Strict pet rules.
